Firebird Award Press Release - Jennifer J. Lehr, author

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

International Firebird Book Awards Celebrate Excellence in Writing with Purpose-Driven Mission

October 20, 2025

The International Firebird Book Awards continue to honor outstanding authors and publishers from around the globe. Entries are from a diverse range of genres and voices, each one carefully reviewed by a distinguished panel of 27 judges from varied backgrounds and expertise. Every submission is evaluated by two members of the panel, using a consistent set of criteria that considers both the quality of writing and production. Only the highest-scoring entries earn the prestigious Firebird Award.

One of the winning entries came from Washington author Jennifer J. Lehr, LMFT, whose book titled Love’s Cauldron: Reclaim Your Wild Feminine – Book 1 Deliverance, won first place in Women’s Issue and third place in Mind/Body/Spirit.

More than just an award entry, participants in the Firebird Book Awards contribute to a larger mission. Founder Patricia J. Rullo explains, “Your entry fee is more than just a fee—it’s a tax-deductible donation that supports women and children experiencing homelessness. We hand-make colorful pillowcases and send them, along with uplifting children’s books, to shelters including the nonprofit Enchanted Makeovers. So when you enter, you’re not just seeking recognition—you’re helping turn shelters into homes filled with color and comfort.”

The Firebird Book Awards are powered by Speak Up Talk Radio, a vibrant platform offering creative professionals multiple opportunities to amplify their voices. In addition to book and podcast awards, Speak Up Talk Radio provides radio interviews, book reviews, BookSong, audiobook production, podcasting services, book editing and formatting, and comprehensive marketing support.

The Firebird Awards run quarterly contests, allowing authors to gain recognition throughout the year. The competition is open to all genres and welcomes submissions from traditionally published, indie, and self-published authors alike.
